Free hotel stay offered by Tahiti Village timeshare in Las Vegas (Alan Thicke)? Is it a scam?

I heard a radio spot to call a number to receive a free 3-night stay in Las Vegas. When I called, the operator told me that the 3-night stay would be free if my wife and I sat through a 2 hour sales pitch for the Tahiti Village timeshare. Does anyone know if this a scam? Will we really get a free hotel stay?

You will but it is like a timeshare pitch. VERY high pressured to buy into a timeshare.

You should see the Southpark episode. They go to Aspen for a ‘free’ weekend at a timeshare… very funny!:)

There is a good chance you will get a hotel stay. I have gotten stuff from timeshares. The 2 hour sales pitch is very very high pressure. JUST SAY NO. you will probably get limitations on when you can stay. Also, Check what kind of hotel. Could be a dump.

YES AND NO , timsshare idea are not scams and u will get the free hotel stay but it will not always be in the timeshare they wanna show you. and u will haveto sit for a sales pitch trying to get u to buy this timeshare. and believe me it wont be just 2 hours it will seem to last FOREVER. they do not like to take no for a answer. My mom like to do them to get free things everytime we go somewhere. u can get cash, tickets, trips, etc. But is half your day worth it to you. i actually own a timeshare and it has its pros and cons to it. when i first descided i wanted one i took my hubby to one in orlando and the lady made him soooo mad, they can get rude when ya saying no. try not to hit them lol. but because we told her no over and over ( this was the wynn in orlando) she told us " i dont think u make as muhc money as u say u do " im like omg i dont care what u think reallie. so when i wanted to check out a diff one he refused to go anymore lol. i hadta have my mom go to one and tell me bout it later . but we got one now and they ok. i think it depends on your family stuiation. we did the stay a weekend free in daytona thing when we got ours. They said we get to stay 3 nights in a daytona resort. when we got there they took us down the street to a less nicer place. in fact i didnt like the place at all and i paid to upgrade my room so i didnt get a free stay. so when my mom and sister went on the tour for me they complained bout how much i hated it and how i wowuldnt even cxome to see the timeshare. the ppl came and walked the beach to find me and offer me more free stuff to come in to talk to them. and telling me how sorry they where. and how they not the one make the arrangements a diff company does and all this bs that u know they had said b4. But anyway hope my story helps u out and if u take the free trip know u might not get the super nice place they advertise and are trying to sell u a piece off. althought i guess stayin anywhere free in vegas is good. ad know the timeshare presetation will be LONGGGGGGGGGGGG and they will not just take no u haveta say it over and over and over. and if u buy one then gl with it , have fun and watch it make sure u on they backs bout everything that bugs you.

Go for it. Just always say no. They have to provide you with what they say. My wife and I went to one in Reno a few years back. Took 45 minutes and we got 50$ cash and all sorts of coupons for drinks and dinner and slots. Well worth the time.

Just don’t let them talk you into this "good" deal. Do a search on timeshares and see how many people have been screwed and are trying to sell theirs.
