Im going to Las Vegas, and I am planning on booking at a resort there, but I don’t know which one to stay at… has anyone ever stayed at any of the following:
Tahiti Village
Desert Paradise Resort
PMV- The Carriage House
Royal Vacation Suites
Club de Soleil
The Jockey Club
Westgate Flamingo Bay
Monarch Grand Vacation-Cancun Resort
WorldMark Las Vegas
If so, which would you recommend? Which should I cancel out?

Stay on the strip! It makes all the difference in the world. Those hotels are on the other side of the 15 and you’ll have to cab it to go anywhere worthwhile. MGM and NYNY might be a couple more bucks, but it’s well worth it. Trust me.
Tahiti Village is a dump Can you do a Hilton Grand Vacation. It is $199 for 2 or 4 people for three days and two nights. and another $100 for 2 more days. It is a very nice place.
Where ever you go you do have to put up with the time share presentation.
Jockey club has the best location right on the strip. Tahiti Village is so far south of the strip and in the middle of nowhere. Carriage House isn’t too bad being just off the strip. The others are either too far off the strip or in a bad neighborhood. Jockey Club would be the best because of it’s location. It is also the oldest so it might not be as fancy as the others.
The Jockey Club is very centrally located.
The WorldMark Las Vegas is in a terrible location. It is very far to anything.
The Royal Resort is actually a short walk to the Wynn, but this online review would have me worried: This was part of a timeshare certificate I was "gifted" with. It was for 3 nights of free lodging. Overall, the resort was OK, the staff was courteous, if lackadaisical. Room service never changed sheets or cleaned, and the AC kept flashing "trouble wrench" icon as a lethal-smelling odor emitted from the vents. Intermittently, the whole 3rd floor stunk of sewage/gas/rotten eggs or somebody cooking Crystal Meth. The first night, a maintenance man fixed something in the ceiling and the smell went away. The next night, after returning at 1am, a security guard pulled the thermostat off the wall, put it back in, and in a few hours the stench returned, so I pulled it out of the wall to turn the AC off. The next day, they said they could pour air freshener into the toilet and spray it around….I packed up and left, thoroughly disgusted. Perhaps they put all the timeshare people on the stinky floor so we’ll leave before our free stay is up? The airline staff on the floor above seemed happy enough. What a pit!!! Can’t believe that people actually PAY to stay here. You couldn’t pay me enough to go back!!

These are not resorts, they are timeshares. As the other people have mentioned hte only one that on the strip is The Jockey Club and it’s your basic hotel.
Wynn, Encore, Bellagio, Venetian, Mandalay Bay are RESORTS!
Don’t stay at any of those!!!
If you want the best value for your buck, go to the Las Vegas Hilton!
