I wish I could get with my passport to Tahiti and just live there, grab some fishes, coconuts and others fruits. I heard it is possible to get there from Europe with fisherman’s boat via cruise and by helping them on the way. Probably it’s similar to the road autostopping right? This trip from Seattle to Sydney in Sept/October 2007 took in several of the Pacific islands, including Tahiti and the Cook Islands. Our honeymoon options so far are: Drive up the West coast of California for 7 -10 days, or take a cruise of the Mexican Riveria or Hawaii. Does anyone know any websites that may have really cheap accomodations at the Intercontinental Resort & Spa, Moorea in Tahiti? Or any other 4 or 5 star hotel in Tahiti or any of it’s island?
