Hi, All;
I hope all is well!
My husband and I have been together for 8 yrs (we just got married in December), but we have never gone on a proper romantic vacation, so I want to start planing a vacation for next year (around this month) to Tahiti Bora Bora ( I actually saw it in the barchelette and I really want to take my husband there). I have never planned something like this, so I don’t know how to start this huge plan. What would be the correct questions to ask a travel agency?, how do I know that they are real and that my tkt’s and itinerary is still valid a year from now?, What kind of currency does Tahiti use? Is it safe in Tahiti?
Thank you!

Well obviously, you would want to be a customer among well known travel agencies, so I doubt that would be a problem. As for the safety question, I’ve only been to Tahiti once, and it was rather safe, although some may know more about that than me, but I would assume it’s a very safe place. Tahiti is using the France Pacific Franc.
You should ask about prices, interesting places to visit and set up a plan for each day and make a budget. It’s often quite smart to know the prices for places down there you wish to visit, so that you don’t run into a slap in the face. Because Tahiti is very expensive, and you would need a lot of money to live there, depending for how long of course. Feel free to ask me more questions.
Uh, Tahiti is in the South Pacific, a huge way away from the Carribean. That being said, do a google on Tahiti and go. Have a blast!
I would recommend an island circuit in French Polynesia that would include at least, Tahiti, Moorea and Bora Bora!
You can find pretty good deals these days…
