Trying to choose between Desert Paradise, Tahiti Village & Monarch Grand Vacation Cancun Resort. I try to look at TripAdvisor and each place has as many incredible as horrible reviews. Taking a family with 3 boys, ages 10, 12, & toddler.
I am doing an exchange through Interval Intl so I am not looking to buy a timeshare just looking for input of which of the three would be the best choice to have my family stay at.

Tahiti Village under Consolidated Resorts has gone to bankruptcy.
Desert Paradise is a Diamond Resort & Cancun is owned by Monarch Grand Vacations, both well-known timeshare companies.
With a young family, a timeshare may seem like the way to go, but realize that you will be paying on maintenance fees long after your family grows up and doesn’t want to go to the timeshare. Maintenance fees will also increase steadily over time whether you visit the timeshare or not. The bankruptcy of Consolidated caused a lot of heartache and headaches for owners there with uncertainty that still hangs over the property. The best advice is not to buy a timeshare.
Don’t see time share as a vacation, sorry. You have a room and maybe a pool but what else for the kids to do

Hilton on the strip….Best pool, very quiet, no gambling, activity room with a billiards table and I believe there is an arcade close by if not on the resort,
If you are looking to buy a timeshare don’t buy in Vegas find something that is driving distance close to your home that you can visit frequent and when you want to go to Vegas just exchange into there. There is always availability there. Vegas is realy not a good vacation spot for kids because you are limited to where they can go…but it is getting little better now then it use to be.
If you are looking to exchange to Vegas I read a review on Monarch Grand and sounds like they have a nice pool area with slides that kids might enjoy. I have no idea about the units have not been to them.
